Do you have realistic animals, or cute ones?
Both. Some pages are drawn from life, with fur and feathers picked out individually; others are round and simple. The colored example shows you which one you are getting.
Which animals are easiest for a young child?
Elephants, pandas and bears — large bodies, few markings, wide areas to fill. Print on A3 if the lines still feel tight.
How do I make fur look real?
Draw short strokes that follow the direction the fur grows, rather than filling the shape flatly. Two shades of the same colour is usually enough.
Can I use these at a school or care home?
Yes. Print a copy for each person. Many of these pages were drawn with older adults in mind, with thicker lines and larger areas.
