When did humans start using horses?
Horses are believed to have been domesticated around 6,000 years ago in Central Asia, near present-day Kazakhstan. They are thought to have reached Japan from the Korean peninsula during the Kofun period (4th-5th century), where they were used for farming, transport, and warfare.
