❓Frequently asked questions
Are these dinosaur coloring pages really free?
Yes. There is no sign-up and no email address to hand over. Open a page, download it and print it. Schools, nurseries and care homes are welcome to print a copy for each person.
Which dinosaur is easiest for a young child?
Long-necked plant eaters such as Brachiosaurus, and Stegosaurus, are the easiest. They have large bodies with wide areas to fill in, so a small child can finish the whole picture. Printing on A3 makes them easier still.
Do you have realistic dinosaurs as well as cute ones?
Both. Some pages are drawn like a field guide, with scales and claws picked out in detail. Others are round and friendly. The colored example on each page shows you which is which before you print.
What colour should a dinosaur be?
There is no right answer. Colour is not preserved in fossils, so even palaeontologists disagree. Green, brown, blue, striped — all of it is as defensible as anything in a museum.
What file format are the pages in?
