Rabbits are known for their long ears and short fluffy tail. Their hearing is very sharp and each ear turns on its own, so a rabbit can check a sound behind it without moving its body at all. They are among the most widely kept pets after cats and dogs.
💃 Do rabbits really dance?
Something close to it. A happy rabbit will spring into the air and twist its body part-way round before landing, and rabbit keepers call this a binky. It usually comes at the end of a run around the room, and it is taken as a sign that the animal feels safe and pleased with itself.
🎨 How should the rabbits be coloured?
White, cream and soft pink are the usual choices. Keeping the bodies pale and saving the only strong pink for the inside of the ears and a touch on the cheeks is what makes the faces read as rabbits. The three do not have to match: giving each one a different colour of bow tie is the quickest way to turn them into three characters rather than the same rabbit drawn three times. The music notes are small, so leave those until last.
